An Evening of Second Chances and New Beginnings

Join us for a heartwarming night celebrating community, compassion, and the powerful bond between people and pets. The Fur Ball is our premier annual fundraiser supporting programs that create brighter futures for animals — and the people who love them.

This year’s theme is “Unleashing Hope Within the Community,” and we’re excited to highlight the powerful ways your support builds bridges between people and pets. One of our key focuses this year is our Leashing Hope program — an innovative partnership between Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, Bartlett Prison, and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

Leashing Hope pairs shelter dogs with incarcerated military veterans in the Bartlett Innovation Unit. Over the course of two months, each dog is trained by two handlers using positive reinforcement and force-free methods to learn skills like sit, stay, recall, and leash walking. The program prepares these dogs for a successful future in a loving home, while also offering purpose, healing, and connection to the veterans involved.

We’re also proud to welcome the City of Georgetown as the newest partner in our growing regional network — another important step in expanding our community-based programs and impact.

Your ticket includes a seated three-course dinner, one drink ticket, access to our live and silent auctions, games, prizes, photo ops, and more!

Whether you're attending as a guest or joining us as a sponsor, this unforgettable evening helps us unleash hope within our community.
